How much notice do you need for my order?

Our policy is that we need your order to be PAID for AT LEAST 72 hours before the time of pickup or delivery. Please notice we are currently open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am-3pm and can process payments during those times. Sometimes during our busy seasons we will ask for a little more notice, or may get booked up more quickly. Please be aware that the sooner you inquire the more we can guarentee that we can get you your order when you need it!

Do you deliver?

Yes we can offer delivery at an additional fee. Our delivery rate is calculated per mile . We have a $25 dessert minimum and a $15 minimum delivery fee. If you would like to inquire about how much delivery would cost please call us at (602) 274-BAKE (2253) or email us at info@abakeshop.com and provide us with the delivery address. Please note the fee does not include a tip for our drivers.

What is the process to order your custom desserts?

The best way to place a custom order would be to submit the form on this page here on our site! We recommend submitting your custom inquiry form at least 1-2 weeks prior to your pickup date so we have time to discuss all the details. After submitting this form we will try our best to get back to you as soon as possible with a quote via email. Once the pickup date, design and price has been decided through email we will ask you to either call or submit a payment online for your order. Please note we ask that this payment is complete at least 72 hours in advance of pickup. Once we have payment, your order is considered complete!

How much will my custom desserts cost?

All of our custom cakes, cookies, pies, and more are baked from scratch and designed especially for you. That being said the pricing really depends on the design you are looking for. The pricing on our site would be the base pricing and sizing that we use. Any photos you can send to get a visual of what you are imagining will help us price your order! All price quotes for orders are sent via email.

How can I schedule a cake tasting?

We are so excited that you are thinking of us for your special day! We schedule tastings on Tuesday-Thursday, anytime between 10am and 3pm and Friday, 10am and 12pm. We are unable to accommodate Saturday tastings in the spring and fall due to our wedding season. They are $40 and typically accommodate 2 people. We will need payment in advance to secure the appointment, unless you are working with one of our partnership venues in which case the tasting fee is included in your package. Can I pick up my order on Sundays or Mondays?

Unfortunately we are closed Sundays and Mondays. Your order will need to be picked up on Saturday between 10am and 3pm. Please see our aftercare instructions for how to store it before you eat it.

What should I do after I've picked up my order?

For Cakes, Cupcakes, Bars, and Cake Pops: Please store in a refrigerator after you've picked up your desserts. You are going to want to bring it up to room temperature before you are going to enjoy them. The timing for this will depend on the size of the dessert. If you have leftovers after eating, please store in the fridge again for maximum freshness.

For Cookies: Cookies can be left out at room temperature. They are best kept in an airtight container if you are going to wait longer than 24 hours to eat them.

How should I cut my cake?

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?

In the event that you need to cancel your specialty order, you have up to 8 days prior to your event date to get a full refund; minus a 6% processing fee that aBakeshop will keep. Ifyou cancel within 7 days of your event, aBakeshop will keep 25%, refunding 75% of the amount paid to the customer. Please note that this does not apply to signed contracts.
